After building a multifaceted career across nonprofit organizations, Fortune 500 corporations, and government agencies, I took an ambitious step in 2014 to establish my own consulting venture - HETTY GROUP. Fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to social impact, I sought to expand my influence beyond any one sector or organization. My mission: to drive meaningful community engagement and create lasting partnerships.
Over the years, I honed in on a unique skill set, bringing together diverse stakeholders to form impactful collaborations in the public safety space. Known for my strategic mindset and methodical execution, I’ve developed a reputation as a behind-the-scenes strategist who brings people together to achieve shared goals. My passion lies in connecting people and creating frameworks that empower engagement and change.
One of my specialized areas of expertise has been in fostering partnerships between law enforcement and corporate entities. With over 20 years dedicated to this niche, I’ve worked alongside law enforcement, community leaders, and major corporations to develop public safety initiatives, nonprofit public safety related foundations, and strategic programs. My goal has been to contribute to a world where safety and security are universally accessible, not a privilege, but a standard.
Beyond the public safety niche, I’ve created major initiatives forging partnerships between the tech sector and seniors/older adults, worked on the homelessness issue, and worked with brands like AARP, The United Way, Amazon, Ross Stores, Kroger, and various startups.
Most recently, I served as the VP of Community & Strategic Initiatives for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to leverage my background in public safety, partnership building, community engagement and stakeholder relations to get Hollywood ready for the LA28 Olympics.
While in that role, I realized that it was time to pivot to follow my passion. So I quit and dove head first into the startup founder’s journey as Co-Founder of my new social wellness company: PARALLEL Social Club. You can learn more about it here.
Thank you for visiting my website and being curious about my journey. I’m excited to build PARALLEL and see where it goes. I do have a solid plan! But I also have learned life’s lessons, that life doesn’t turn out as planned or predicted. So I’m going to enjoy this season of life doing something that I love.
Please reach out if you’d like to collaborate!
I’m also always open to riveting conversations about life, career transitions, public safety, social health & friendships, and the concept of intentional life design.
